Tower: Marshmallows and Toothpicks

 

The purpose of this project was to build a structure that could carry the maximum amount of weight. 

 

The structure was building only with toothpicks and marshmallows joints. The structure must to be able carry the amount of weight. 

 

My team decided to build a structure that was a two cubes shaped. The structure  had 2 cubes which support a double toothpicks on the sides. We we sure that our structure won't collapse. It was strong enough to keep weight. 

 

The most difficult part was to working with marshmallow, joints are very weak. The marshmallows are not able to hold big amounts of weight. 

 

My tem created a very pretty structure everything was going okay and we won this project. The structure did not collapse because the issue was not with the structure collapsing or twisting. At the very first time our structure stated to twist but later we add double toothpicks in each sides. 

 

If I were to do this project again, I would add more marshmallow or have it even big size. It will make stracture more blanced and stronger.

 

This project was very intresting but we were so hungry to look at the marshmallow. I like my team and how we did this project it was great!
