Final Toothpick Bridge Challenge

The purpose was to create the strongest toothpick bridge. The size must to be 25 cm, the height is higher than 3 cm, weighs less than or equal to 50 grams and holds at least the same amount weight as the structure. The role was to bring a hair dryer, and help build the structure. But my work was building and control how much support things I can made for my bridge.

I needed to leave earlier than I should have. I started to make a structure by myself so my teammates can continue different work without me. I made my bridge stronger and stronger and it was only 32grams. I like this design, it was not easy but impossible to make an arch and connect a lot of toothpicks together.

This design have a big difference with my previous bridges, but I would like to say that it was the best one.

Testing time

Our bridge had most of the design criteria. The bridge spanned 25 cm. Our bridge held 9, 386. 61grams and collapsed. It was amazing my team told that we crached everybody and my work was successful!

We were on fire, unfortunately I could not be with my group on that dayes but I was surprised and happy with the results which my team told me!)

Evaluation

I made the most work of the structure and was staying after school to finishe it and impoved it a lot. At the first time we made only one roud of the toothpicks but after we add second and it was looking like a crosses. The legs of the bridge were so strong it was impossible to break it.

The reason why the bridge failed was because the weight was maximum for the bridge which me made we did not failed, it was just enough weight for or brigde to crack.

I like this activity. It was quete chalanging yourselfs and skills. It was fun, and cool)
